Brits avoid DIY tasks

New figures from Moneysupermarket show over half of Britons dodge their DIY tasks, preferring to get professionals in. The region that was most averse to taking a hands-on approach was Wales, with seven in 10 respondents saying they’d hire a specialist wherever possible. Across the UK, nearly nine out of 10 people surveyed would call in the experts to complete tasks such as repairing a damaged roof and less than half of us would be willing to unblock our own rainwater gutters.
