Creating a home that required minimal maintenance was one of Linda and Clive’s main priorities, so this fed into their product selection both inside and outside.
e cladding is Cedral fibre cement cladding, made with a wood grain impression. e surface of the boards is pre-coloured and requires no painting. It’s sympathetic in style to the local vernacular weatherboarding, making it popular in areas where the planners are keen for new builds to be in keeping with surrounding properties. e
Sto bonding insulating render is pre-coloured and needs no painting. e couple also opted for dark grey alloy window frames and sills on the outside of their new home, paired with prefabricated polished stone window sills on the inside that look like marble.
