Unique cooking space...

Upcycling was an important part of Kieran’s design plan for the treehouse, particularly in relation to cooking, where he wanted to introduce a back to nature vibe. Most of the culinary options, therefore, are outside on the deck, where there is a wood-fired pizza oven and a barbecue. Inside, Kieran was keen to get away from any hint of a fitted kitchen, but struggled to find a solution until he discovered an old oak sideboard on ebay. He sent this to be professionally refinished and painted, and then added a butler sink. A simple hob sits on top of the wood-clad fridge.
