FIBRE CEMENT

-

Designed as a low-maintenance alternative to timber, fibre cement does not rot or warp and can withstand relatively extreme weather conditions. Most products come through-coloured, so you don’t have to worry about repainting over time. It tends to be sold on a supply-and-fit basis, with installed costs of £60+ per m2. So it’s a touch more expensive than standard timber cladding, but offers the benefit of a 40-year service life (or more) with no real upkeep, which translates to low long-term costs.

This home is covered with Cedral Lap fibre cement cladding. This product is a great choice for self builders or renovators who want a unique look, as the cladding comes in 21 painted colours and two wood stain finishes (www.cedral.world)
