STAYING IN
RYAN HAS THE X-FACTOR WHEN IT COMES TO TECHNOLOGY
WE know we’re always telling you to get out – but there’s a new series starting on CITV this week that might really be worth staying in for!
Mech-X4 (Thursday,
5pm, CITV Freeview) is a Disney series which focuses on the fortunes of Ryan Walker, a high-school student who has the ability to control technology with his mind.
But, of course, it comes with consequences.
Ryan (played by Nathaniel Potvin) discovers his ability has somehow awakened Mech-X4, a 150ft robot built by an elusive genius as a form of protection.
In need of help, Ryan recruits his brother and two friends to support him and they’re thrown
into action when giant monsters descend on their home town.
Star Nathaniel is a rising young actor who’s had notable other roles in films like Twist of Faith and TV short, Table 58. He has also guest-starred on other television series like Girl Meets World, CSI, Jessie and The Haunted Hathaways.
While he had been dancing since he was a child, Nathaniel only started acting after he was forced to do a drama course when he was 11. He later enrolled in an acting class at the same place he used to take dancing lessons and was eventually scouted by his current talent manager.
But we imagine everyone will know that – and more – very soon!
