November shortlist

THE contenders for the Sky Bet Championship manager and player of the month awards for November have been revealed.

There is no Derby County involvement as the Rams’ League record last month read: won two, lost two.

The manager of the month nominees are Daniel Farke (Norwich City), Darren Moore (West Bromwich Albion), Dean Smith (Aston Villa) and Paul Warne (Rotherham United).

Norwich collected 10 points from 12 during November and sit top of the Championship.

West Brom won three of their four matches, beating Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Swansea City.

Villa went unbeaten in November. They beat Bolton Wanderers, Derby and Birmingham City and drew 5-5 with Nottingham Forest.

Rotherham were also unbeaten, winning one and drawing three of their four fixtures.

The Championship player of the month nominees are: Tammy Abraham (Aston Villa), Joe Lolley (Nottingham Forest), Teemu Pukki (Norwich City) and Darren Randolph (Middlesbrough).

The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Derby manager George Burley, Sky Sports EFL League pundit Don Goodman, EFL marketing director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL trader Mikey Mumford.

The winners will be announced tomorrow.
