Lowe keen to see out season at Aberdeen

MARCUS Harness earned his chance from the bench ahead of others who could have filled the same wide attacking role, says manager Nigel Clough.

Harness, the 24-year-old Academy graduate who first appeared in a pre-season friendly at 15, made a lively impact after a 75th-minute introduction in the 2-1 win over Shrewsbury Town on Saturday, having a hand in the Brewers’ second goal.

“We felt Marcus deserved his chance because he has done well when he has come on,” said Clough.
