Christmas folk club has sold out

Timmy Matley had big shoes to fill and Lachie, Mike, Mark and Darren have managed to regroup and, while honouring their ubertalented friend and keeping his memory alive, have brought another depth to their talents.

I didn’t think I could be any more in love with The Overtones but oh boy, after Saturday’s concert I am smitten more than ever.

The talented and entertaining duo, feature Paul Hutchinson (accordion) and Paul Sartin (oboe, violin and vocals), who play like no-one else you’ve ever heard.

Their music is breathtaking and wickedly inventive, while the between-tunes interchange is just as intelligent and hilarious as the music.
