Colliery band in St George’s Day concert at Gresley Old Hall

GRESLEY Colliery Brass Band are set to entertain the crowds later this month with a St George’s Day concert.

Joining them will be the Gresley Colliery Youth and Senior Brass Band at the event, which will take place on Saturday, April 20, at Gresley Old Hall, in Church Gresley.

The concert starts at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm.

There will be refreshments, raffles and comedy, which will all add to the mix to make the evening one for all the family.

Gresley Colliery Brass Band recently became Midlands area champions and in September travel to Cheltenham to take part for a chance at being the national champions.
