■■Keith Brailsford, 59, of Shobnall Close, Burton, was convicted of driving a Ford in Goodman Street, Burton, on December 20 without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence. He was been fined £660, ordered to pay £90 court costs and a £66 victim surcharge. He was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending. ■■Mantas Arasimavicius, 29, of Goodman Street, Burton, admitted driving a Skoda on the A50 at Uttoxeter on April 3 at 100mph, exceeding the 70mph speed limit. He was been fined £338 and ordered to pay £90 costs and a £34 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with five points.
■■Angelika Warpas, 26, of Wheat Breach Close, Burton, was convicted of driving a car in Branston Road, Burton, on April 21, where the registration plate was black with smoke, making it difficult to read. She was fined £330 and told to pay £90 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge. ■■Rebecca Sansone, 34, of Boundary Drive, Tamworth, admitted driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Watling Street, Tamworth, on July 3, with 84 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35. She was fined £583 and told to pay £310 court costs and a £57 victim surcharge. She was banned from driving for 20 months. ■■Rikki Morris, 32, of Broadwaters Road, Wednesbury, was found guilty of assaulting a bus driver, rendering him unconscious. He was also found guilty of damaging a glass pane of a bus passenger door worth £106.10 in Lichfield on August 14, 2020. In addition, he was found guilty of driving a Mercedes without due care and attention in Walsall Road, Lichfield, on the same day. Morris was ordered to pay £606.10 compensation, £620 court costs and a £128 victim surcharge. He was also given an 18-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months because the magistrates heard this was a sustained attack on a bus driver carrying out his public duties resulting in the driver being knocked unconscious. He will also carry out 150 hours’ unpaid work.
