Dementia awareness sessions this month

A DEMENTIA support group is hosting events in Burton this month where people who are worried about the illness can get useful help and advice.

Approach Dementia Support is hosting two events, in association with Staffordshire County Council, and Councillor Arshad Afsar will be present at both sessions.

The events are being held for people to come and have a community conversation about memory loss and how you can support somebody in your community.

Refreshments will be provided at both events, the first of which will take place on Monday, May 9, at Princess Street Resource Centre, 25-28 Princess Street, Burton, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

The second event will take place on Monday, May 16, at Burton Caribbean Association, 346 Uxbridge Street, Burton, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
