A NEW programme of events has been lined up at a Burton landmark which dates back hundreds of years

For centuries, Sinai Park House has been a place of sanctuary and healing, and the trust which runs the site is keen to put fun and wellbeing firmly back on the agenda with a new programme of events for this year.

Following on from the success of the inaugural family fun day last summer, Sinai Woodland Festival on June 11 will be a day for all the family to enjoy at the forest school located at Burton’s oldest house.

There will be bushcraft, forest school and wellbeing workshops throughout the day, lots of games, activities and music around the site, including a super muddy mud kitchen.

There will be food outlets, market stalls featuring local traders with eco credentials, roaming poets and tours of the historic grounds of Sinai Park House.

Families can enjoy an exciting array of activities for all ages and abilities, such as outdoor yoga, tai chi, mindfulness, weaving and other crafts, fire lighting, den building, archery, a wildlife walk, natural string making, campfire snacks and much more to be announced.

The forest school site is available for use by school and community groups, as well as for private hire, alongside an exciting programme of public events, including ‘stay and play’ sessions for families with young children, seasonal workshops and woodland birthday parties.

As a special offer, there is 20 per cent off all tickets until May 16. Tickets can be booked online.
