Foodbanks will close faster than our pubs

-

FOODBANKS running out of supplies? Well of course they are.

People’s cupboards and freezers are running out of food as prices are starting to bite and the realisation that the extras are now luxuries people can’t afford. Even fish and chips from the chippy is now a luxury food item. That was something that wasn’t even rationed during the war, but shows how bad things are becoming.

We are in a mess. We are told inflation is now at eight per cent, but the truth is it’s nearer 10 per cent.

Pensioners were cheated out of the triple lock, and now we can see why. Foodbanks will soon be closing faster than our pubs as poverty hits. The people and the poorest in our society won’t even have charity to fall back on.
