Former players’ golf day planned at Chevin
DERBY County Former Players’ Association will hold their popular annual golf day at Chevin GC on Tuesday, June 14.
The golf day has helped raise thousands of pounds for a couple of charities each year.

The Former Players’ Association nominate a charity or charities to support each year and have raised around £75,000 for various charities over the years.
Among the charities supported are the Breast Cancer Unit at the Royal Derby Hospital; Derby Macmillan Unit; the Motor Neurone Disease Association; the Oncology and Urology Fund at the Royal Derby Hospital; the Colin Bloomfield Melanoma Appeal; the Stroke Unit at the Royal Derby Hospital; Viking Canoe Polo Club; the Intensive Care Unit at Royal Derby Hospital; the Alzheimer’s Society; Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre; the Hardy Group; Brun Farm; Royal Derby Hospital for Prostate Cancer; Derby Diabetes Fun Club; and Derby County Disabled Supporters’ Association.
