Live music, face painting and a lot more at racecourse event
THERE will be something for all the family when Uttoxeter racecourse hosts a Platinum Jubilee party next month.
Organisers say preparations are going well, with the line-up including face painting, a fun fair for little ones, food and drink outlets, a craft market, various vintage vehicle exhibits, live music and more.
The Uttoxeter Jubilee Event Committee is also running a raffle with more than 100 prizes available. It’s only £1 for a ticket and the committee still has Uttoxeter Jubilee mugs available at £4.99 each.
The event takes place at the racecourse on Saturday, June 4, from 11am to 5pm.
Tickets bought prior to the event cost £2 for a single ticket and £7.50 for a family ticket (includes two adults and three children).
They can be purchased from outside Uttoxeter Town Hall most Saturday mornings, from Redferns Cottage in Carter Street, from Woodwards Ltd in Balance Street or The Big Top Fun Centre at Dovefield Retail Park.
Tickets on the day will be more expensive, so it’s better to buy in advance, say the organisers.
Any money the committee has left over after the event will be donated to local charities and community groups.
