MEMORIES of an East Staffordshire Indian restaurant serving the “best chicken tikka masala in the world” have been shared as the building goes on the market.

As reported in the Burton Mail on Friday, Kohi Noor is up for sale in Queen Street, Uttoxeter, and is open to offers over £500,000 as the owner looks to sell due to retiring.

It has been run by the same person for more than 50 years and has built up a good reputation in the town going by what Burton Mail readers have had to say. In fact, many have taken to Facebook to praise the food and atmosphere, adding that they will be sad to see them go.

The building is being sold by Abode Sales and Lettings as a freehold commercial premises, which describes the premises is “versatile accommodation” with a restaurant seating area for around 70 guests.
