Writing to correct the record on Covid
THE World Health Organisation (WHO) has now released its report of excess Covid deaths per 100,000 of population around the world.
The report is broken down on a country by country basis. The uk has been ranked 56th.
The reason I write about this is to correct the record.
We had months and months of certain media channels and certain politicians saying the uk had a worse pandemic than comparable countries. In addition, there is a general belief that we have the worst death toll in Europe. This simply isn’t true.
according to the WHO, the uk actually had fewer deaths than Germany, Spain, Italy and the united States.
I recall the left-leaning media reporting that not only did we have the highest death toll in Europe, if not the world, we were also known as “plague island”. I wonder why the WHO study isn’t on the TV news?
These same politicians are also silent on the subject now.
We seem to be continually misled for political gain. Facts matter.
