After two years of foreign travel restrictions, many Brits will be jetting abroad for some much-needed summer sun this year. However, it seems the thought of leaving our beloved pets behind is too much to bear for many dog owners, who are instead opting to holiday in the UK – and they’re taking their pets with them.

Google searches for ‘dog friendly holiday cottages’ have rocketed by 850% compared to this time last year, as people seek to get away with their dogs, research by dogs’ joint supplement brand YUMOVE, found.

Searches for ‘dog friendly cafes’ are also on the rise, up 160% compared to 2021, ‘Dog friendly restaurants’ by 110% and searches for ‘Dog friendly attractions’ was up by 70% on last year.
