Dads took on the challenge of obstacle assault course

IN preparation for Father’s Day in 2004, Conkers hosted a special challenge day.

The event saw perspiring Pops having to negotiate an 18-obstacle assault course, including a 30ft climbing tower, zip wire, pyramid, rope bridge, climbing nets and monkey bars.

Up for grabs was the prize of a family meal at the venue’s Gallery Restaurant, with winner Mark Pagett, of the West Midlands, also having his name inscribed on the Conkers Assault Course Challenge Cup.
