Getting between the spreadsheets

-

KATHERINE Parkinson stars in this Australian comedy about a divorced lawyer and mother-of-two who is looking for sex without commitment.

In order to keep on top of her encounters (literally and administratively), Lauren creates a spreadsheet, taking note of background checks, verifying photos – generally reminding herself of their names etc.

When you are enjoying the spoils of various dating apps, so many in fact that you can’t keep track, a spreadsheet seems like a good idea.

Her colleague Alex (Rowan Witt) is on hand to help her, although this is his first experience of a sex spreadsheet so there are slip-ups.

In the first episode, Lauren finds out first-hand about the Australian Anti-hoon laws and their consequences.

She’s still got to try to keep on top of her growing workload, date an ex-rugby player, somehow get her daughter Abby’s costume back from the impounded car, and there’s the issue of her ex-husband Jake and his missing goggles.

Just when it couldn’t get any more ridiculous, her daughter

Lola takes something rather inappropriate to school for show and tell.

In the second episode of a double bill, there’s an issue with an anonymous photo of a certain body part.

She goes on a mission with Alex to entice the anonymous over-sharer out of the shadows, but their sleuthing backfires when she inadvertently posts a photo of herself online.

Meanwhile, her kids have suspiciously good plaits, and Lauren realises Jake is still getting all of her photos on his photo stream.

The full series is available on All 4 after episode one.
