No way through, we’re having a party to celebrate Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

LIST OF STREET CLOSURES ACROSS COUNTY FOR ROYAL MILESTONE

TOWNS and villages across Staffordshire will come together next month to celebrate the Queen’s 70-year reign with street parties.

This will mean more than 100 road closures, including in parts of Burton and surrounding villages.

David Williams, cabinet member for highways and transport at Staffordshire County Council, said: “We want people to be able to enjoy the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year and hold street parties, as part of what is going to be a fantastic weekend of celebrations.

“For many residents, closing their street for the day is a fairly straightforward process and our highways teams are happy to provide advice”.
