About the job: The role will be to lead the development of a compassionate and inclusive culture across the trust. They will lead “change and transformation” with “organisational development strategies, processes and initiatives fostering a compassionate, high-performing culture, where continuous learning, improvement and equality and diversity is embedded throughout.”

Salary: £41,659 - £47,672 a year

About the job: A forward-thinking and experienced advocate is needed to lead and coordinate the growing team where they will utilise the four key elements of the NHSE A-EQUIP (Advocating for Education and Quality Improvement) model to facilitate clear direction and coordination of the team. They will develop a culture of support enabling midwives across all areas to provide high-quality care, identifying opportunities for improvements.

They will ensure a comprehensive and complementary HR and workforce offer is in place to service the needs of clinical and non-clinical departments across the organisation and working in partnership with the staff and staff representatives.

■■ Consultant in ophthalmology special interest in Retinal Macular Disease
Salary: £84,559 - £114,003 a year About the job: The successful candidate would join a team of eight consultants, one associate specialist, three specialty doctors, one registrar and one GP trainee offering a full range of services consistent with a large hospital. A spokesman said: “The Ophthalmology team is a friendly, dedicated and forward thinking team within the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.”

Locally employed upper limb fellow in trauma and orthopaedics Salary: £58,398 a year
About the job: “Applications are invited for this prestigious post, which offers advanced training and experience in all aspects of upper limb surgery. The post would be most suitable for a trainee with CCT or a year 6 orthopaedic trainee, with FRCS (Orth) or equivalent, full GMC registration with a licence to practise and with a special interest in knee surgery.
This is a 12-month appointment; however candidates who are interested in a six-month post may also be considered. Please can you also identify when you would be available to commence this Fellowship if successful.”

Salary: £41,659 - £47,672 a year
About the job: The manager is a key member of the Business Unit management team. They will have responsibility for the co-ordination of performance management targets as well as the leadership of multiple administrative functions across the sites.
They will also play a key part in the development and transformation of services for in local communities, while working closely with colleagues across the wider organisation and alongside a range of system partners.
