It’s the quarter final and the four best chefs from the week’s heats return to the Masterchef kitchen.
Judges Anna Haugh and Marcus Wareing are ready with two challenges that would unnerve even the most experienced. In an Invention Test with a twist, the contenders showcase as many different textures as possible using a wide ranging larder.
Next, the four chefs must cook for some of the country’s best food critics and writers: Leyla Kazim, William Sitwell and Grace Dent.
With a two-course menu of their own design, this is their chance to catch the eye of three people whose words can make or break careers.
