RAMS RATINGS

-

JOE WILDSMITH:

Made two brilliant saves in the first half, the flying stop he made to keep out Bradley Johnson’s header being the pick of the bunch. 8/10

KOREY SMITH:

Playing at right-back, which is not his position but you wouldn’t know it. Looked a bit leggy after the game against Liverpool but still had a decent match. 7/10

JAKE ROONEY:

Won headers and was aggressive in how tight he got to anybody in his territory. Was thrown straight into the deep end due to Eiran Cashin’s suspension and did fine. 7/10

CRAIG FORSYTH:

As one of the senior players he may well want to hold an inquest as to what happened for the MK Dons goal, as that should not be happening. But he was superb. 8/10

HAYDON ROBERTS:

Met Hourihane’s corner with venom and was rewarded with his first goal of the season. That will have done him the power of good. 8/10

MAX BIRD:

Produced a peach of a pass to pick out Nathaniel Mendez-laing, who scored the Rams’ third, and the young midfielder grafted away on what was a memorable afternoon for the fans. 6/10

CONOR HOURIHANE:

Delivered the corner from which Roberts scored and it was another of his set-pieces led to James Collins grabbing a second for the Rams. Has had a tough week through illness but showed quality. 7/10

LOUIE SIBLEY:

Dropped into the left-back position when the Rams didn’t have the ball and after such a demanding week he didn’t let the side down. 6/10

NATHANIEL MENDEZ-LAING: Showed just why the fans love him so much with a brilliant take on the turn from Bird’s pass to fire in the third goal. 8/10

LEWIS DOBBIN:

Had a header ruled out for offside that looked a very tight decision. Produced more of a threat in the second half. 6/10

JAMES COLLINS:

Played up front on his own and was a peripheral figure in the first half but came alive after the break and scored with aplomb. 7/10

SUBSTITUTES

DAVID MCGOLDRICK (COLLINS 72):

Came on to help press MK Dons when in possession. 6/10

WILL OSULA (LEWIS DOBBIN 72):

Didn’t really have much of a sniff of goal. 5/10

LIAM THOMPSON (MENDEZLAING 87):

Not really enough time to make an impact. N/A

RICHARD STEARMAN (HOURIHANE 90):

Got a nice ovation from the fans. N/A
