New Greggs employing 14 opens doors

A NEW Greggs has officially opened its doors in Uttoxeter as it creates 14 new jobs in the area.

The steak bake and sausage rolls favourite has opened just in time for Christmas at the Dovefields Retail Park, Town Meadows Way.

It opened yesterday, and will stock all Greggs favourites as well as the new Christmas menu. This includes the Festive Bake, all-new vegan turkey-free and stuffing baguette, Pigs Under Blankets baguette and festive hot drinks.

Customers will also be able to place Click + Collect orders via the Greggs app. For those yet to download the Greggs app, customers can get a free bake in addition to the free hot drink when they sign up before January 2.

Shop manager Ruth Swindell said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand new shop. We’ve got an amazing range of tasty bakes, hot drinks, sweet treats and savouries available for takeaway or Click + Collect.”

The shop will be open from 6am to 8.30pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 7.30am to 8.30pm on Sundays.
