RAMS RATINGS

-

JOE WILDSMITH:

Didn’t really have much to do in the first half apart from push away a cross from Owen Dale that was fizzed into the box. A quiet night, which is how he would have liked it. 6/10

KOREY SMITH:

There was one moment when he tried to dribble his way out of defence, which was a risk. Was largely solid, although he did switch off on a couple of occasions. 6/10

JAKE ROONEY:

Carried on from where he left off last Tuesday night in the first half but his performance after the break didn’t live up to the opening 45 minutes as he made a few unforced errors. 6/10

CRAIG FORSYTH:

Is in tremendous form right now and had he been able to sort his feet out quicker he would have given the Rams the lead on the stroke of halftime. Reads the game so well. 8/10

EIRAN CASHIN:

Was a nuisance at attacking set-pieces and one flick nearly led to a goal. Played on the left of a back three and cruised through this game without much of a problem. 7/10

LOUIE SIBLEY:

Still waiting for him to find some consistent form but in fairness he was playing left wing-back here which is not his preferred position. Had a great chance in the second half that was saved. Needs to work on his crossing. 5/10

MAX BIRD:

There were times when he was calm in possession and he got stuck into aerial challenges as he battled away manfully in the middle of the park. 6/10

CONOR HOURIHANE:

Had an excellent game in the heart of midfield. Produced some good deliveries into the box from which the Rams nearly opened the scoring. 7/10

LIAM THOMPSON:

Had such a good game against Torquay United last Tuesday and followed that with another tigerish display in midfield. But he looked tired midway through the second half and was subbed. 6/10

JAMES COLLINS:

Led the press and helped out at the back. Had a shot blocked in an unselfish, hard-working display. 7/10

DAVID MCGOLDRICK:

Nearly scored with a stunning volley that cracked the top of the bar. Also demonstrated some wonderful touches in tight areas that underlined his quality. 8/10

SUBSTITUTES

LEWIS DOBBIN (COLLINS, 78): Tried to pick up the pace of the game after his heroics against Torquay. 5/10 TOM BARKHUIZEN (THOMPSON, 78):

Nice to see him back after an injury lay-off. 5/10

RICHARD STEARMAN (ROONEY, 78):

Punished for a foul that should have gone his way. 5/10

WILL OSULA (MCGOLDRICK, 87): Not really a lot of time to make an impression. N/A
