Woman, 19, due in court after stop and search
A WOMAN has been charged with drugs offences following a stop-and-search in Burton.
Staffordshire Police say they stopped a woman on High Street at 1.40pm on Friday, November 18.
Following a search, a total of 33 wraps of class A drugs and cash were seized.
Danesha Smith, 19, of Hawkins Lane, Burton, was arrested and has since been charged with two counts of possession with intent supply class A drugs.
She has been remanded in custody ahead of a plea hearing due at Stafford Crown Court on December 23.
