Festive fun as home hosts Christmas fair

-

A DERBYSHIRE care home is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, December 3, as it hosts its annual Christmas fair.

Prizes, made up of generous donations from stall holders and local businesses, will be up for grabs at Richmond Villages, Aston-on-trent, while money is raised to help provide food parcels and practical support for vulnerable people, as well as somewhere to sleep for those who are homeless this Christmas.

Visitors, residents and staff will be able to soak in the festive atmosphere, with plenty of Christmas-themed delights for those attending to enjoy.

With activities for all ages, children can explore games, gifts and Santa’s grotto, while adults can indulge in jewellery and accessory stalls.

The village, on Richmond Drive, is hosting the event between 12pm and 3pm. The Richmond Singers Choir will be performing, with the 107th Derby Scouts group raising money for their visit to the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea.
