Three arrested after two cars are stolen from same house

THIEVES stole two cars from outside the same house, abandoning one nearby in East Staffordshire.

Staffordshire Police were called to an address near Heathfield Road in Uttoxeter at 3.35am on Monday, November 21, after the incident.

A red Citroen and a blue BMW had been stolen from the driveway of the house. The thieves then abandoned the BMW nearby, but drove off in the stolen Citroen and another silvercoloured BMW it is suspected they arrived in, police have said.

Officers attended the scene and seized the blue BMW so forensic examination could be carried out and the next morning on Tuesday, November 22, officers from the force’s roads policing unit spotted the silver BMW in Featherstone, in Staffordshire.

Three men, aged 26, 20 and 18, from Walsall, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

They remained in police custody while inquiries continue.
