BURTON Albion manager Dino Maamria is urging fans to turn out in force and spur his team on to a place in the FA Cup Third Round.

The Brewers will play Chippenham Town in the Second Round of the Emirates FA Cup tomorrow, with a 2pm kick off.

The Brewers manager said he understands that the club has had a lot of home games this month and that has put pressure on fans’ finances.

But he stressed the importance of this game and how getting the Pirelli Stadium fans rocking lifts his team.

He said: “The FA Cup is a special competition, and we know what it means to the football club. We want to be in the Third Round but first we have to beat Chippenham.

“We will be ready; we have done our homework. We want to go as far as we can, and this game is at home in front of our fans, and they can play a massive part in helping us get to the next round.

“It’s not going to be easy. They have nothing to lose as we have seen from when Needham Market came here. They will play with no fear, and they can be the most dangerous teams. It’s my job to make sure we are ready.”
