England finally arrived in Zimbabwe for their controversial one-day international tour. The team entered the country two days late in protest at a number of journalists being refused visas and consequently the schedule was reduced from five to four matches.

Justin Rose won his first European Tour event in four years at the Mastercard Australian Masters in Huntingdale after carding a 12-under-par 276.

Derby County chairman Adam Pearson confirmed that the club had parted company with manager Billy Davies.
