Rugby club wins recognition from Civic Society for its new clubhouse

BURTON Civic Society has presented its Highly Commended Design Award to Burton Rugby Football Club for its new clubhouse (inset) at Battlestead Croft, Branston Road, Tatenhill.

The presentation took place in the clubhouse on Saturday at half-time during the local derby fixture against Lichfield with Burton leading 32-0.
