Engineering society’s talk

THE next monthly meeting and lecture of Burton Engineering Society will take place on Thursday, starting at 7.30pm, at Burton and South Derbyshire College University Centre, Lichfield Street, Burton.

The talk is entitled “Railways in and around World War II 1937-1945” and will be given by Robin Mathams.

There will be a presentation of photographs from the Sutton Coldfield Railway Society’s Moseley Archive between 1911 and the 1970. This will cover the years from 1937 to 1945.
