Prices of houses rising across borough, figures show
NEW data has revealed which areas of East Staffordshire are enjoying the biggest boom in house prices.
The Office of National Statistics (ONS) figures show Abbey ward, which includes the village of Bramshall, has had the highest rise in the latest 12 months for which data is available.
Of the 21 wards that make up the East Staffordshire Borough Council catchment area, only two average house prices fell. They were Shobnall, where values decreased by four per cent, and Rolleston on Dove, which saw a percentage decrease of one per cent.
All other wards saw an increase in average house prices from 2020 to 2021. Below is a table showing all the places in East Staffordshire ranked from highest percentage increase to lowest percentage increase.
