Lleisiau’r Byd World Voices is a friendly and informal community choir. Meets every Wednesday in term-time 7.30-9.30 in the Jerusalem Hall in Cricieth. £5 a session, with first one free. The choir sings songs in a variety of styles and languages in glorious harmony. All music is taught by ear, directed by musical leader David Gunn, in a friendly and supportive way to produce beautiful sounds. No previous singing experience necessary. Contact 01766 523686. Loads of good things to see and buy, all helping to keep the voluntary crews afloat, and all of us safe on or beside the sea. If you could spare SCHOOL: The school is taking part in the food co-operative. For £3 a bag of fruit/veg or salad may be bought. Orders together with the money to be handed in to the school by Thurs morning. Produce to be picked up between 3-3.30pm on Fri. Orders can be left together with the money at Ceiri Garage, but produce must be picked up at the school. Also for sale, linen shopping bags, stamped with the school logo, £1. Contact the school. CHURCH: Service every Sunday at 9.30am. English service first Sunday of every month at 5pm. At the service last Sunday morning, the vicar, the Rev Lloyd Jones thanked Gordon Hughes for his hard work on weeding the path through the cemetery. TI A FI/MOTHER AND TODDLER: Now meet in the school at 1.30pm on Thursdays. LUNCH: Every Thursday the school cook will be preparing a roast lunch.
