CAR

If travelling along the A55 from the west, leave the dual carriageway at Junction 4 and follow the yellow signs to the Eisteddfod fields. There will be a one-way system in place to minimize hold-ups and to ease traffic in Bodedern village.

Those coming from the Cemaes and Amlwch areas should travel to Valley and then join the A55 at Junction 3 (east bound) before leaving at Junction 4 and following the yellow signs.

Those travelling from Llangefni or Llannerchy-medd should go to Trefor and turn there for the A5 or the A55. Do not go towards Bodedern.

The postcode for the Maes is LL65 3SS but do not follow SatNav directions that send you through Bodedern village. and midnight from Thursday, August 3, to and including Sunday 13 August.

During this period Arriva’s journeys operating under the 4 service number, will serve the village of Bodedern from the direction of the village of Llanynghenedl rather than Caergeiliog.

Regular train services run across North Wales to Holyhead. Once in Holyhead, cross the Millennium Bridge to the bus stop to catch the service bus (either the 4 or X4 service) to Bodedern.
