O DDRWS I DDRWS: runs a bus service from Llŷn to Ysbyty Gwynedd every Mon, Wed and Fri for £1 each way. The bus starts out from Llŷn to arrive at Ysbyty Gwynedd convenient for visiting time 1.30pm-2.30pm. It will pick up from the villages around Llŷn. DROP-IN MINDFULNES­S SESSIONS: Lunchtime drop-in mindfulnes­s practice sessions open to all, from complete beginners to people who wish to keep their practice topped up. Ideal for anyone who wishes to get a taste of mindfulnes­s. Held at the Doctor’s surgery (Ty Doctor), Nefyn, every 2 weeks on a Tuesday from 1-2pm. It is fine to come for the first half hour only. NEFYN AND DISTRICT LADIES CLUB: Linda Dowling of J and L Jeweller’s on the High Street, Pwllheli was the speaker. She started with a quiz asking members to price 10 different items. Amazingly only three members got one out of ten right and after adding their totals for all 10 a winner was proclaimed! Linda brought items which members were able to purchase. Menus were distribute­d for the Christmas meal which Norma would like back with the money asap. At the next meeting on November 9 the speaker is Vivien Edwards from the North Wales Deaf Associatio­n.

Bu Beti’n gweithio mewn amryw o lefydd, oend ei gwaith olaf cyn ymddeol oedd fel cynorthwyd­d gofal. Roedd cerddoriae­th a chanu yn rhan bwysig o’i bywyd. Cynhaliwyd yr angladd ar ddydd Gwener, Medi 29, gyda gwasaneth cyhoeddus yng Nghapel Bethel, Penrhos ac yn dilyn ym mynwent y capel. Gwasanaeth­wyd gan y Parch W Bryn Williams.
