LLITHFAEN

ROBERT WILLIAMS: Heulwen, Morean Terrace, Llithfaen, died on October 6 at his home Heulwen, aged 70. Robert was born on October 22, 1946 in Bangor. He lived his life at Heulwen, Llithfaen. He was the only son of Alice and John Williams. Robert worked at the creameries at Y Ffôr, and he helped his father at Cae’r Nant, Llithfaen as a handy man. Robert married 18 years ago with Carys and was a stepfather to Barry. Robert was a loving son-in-law to Ken and the late Meira, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin to many/ The funeral was held on Monday, October 23, with a public service at Llithfaen chapel followed by committal at Bangor Crematorium. The service was officiated by the Rev Canon Peter James. The organist was Griff T Owen. Tribute was by Carys (wife). The bearers were Barry (stepson), John, Dylan, Dafydd, Stanley, Arwel (family members). Family mourners were Carys (wife), Barry and Bethan (stepson and wife), numerous family and friends. Flowers were sent by Carys (wife) and close family. Donations were received towards North Wales Air Ambulance Ltd.Funeral refreshments were at Llithfaen chapel vestry. Funeral arrangements were by G D Roberts and Son, Chapel of Rest, Pwllheli.
