Volunteers raise a stunning £27k

-

● Dedicated volunteers have raised an impressive £27,000 towards Caernarfon’s Ysbyty Eryri over the last 18 months. These funds, donated by Ysbyty Eryri’s League of Friends, have been used to purchase equipment such as a therapy software package, wardrobes, over chair tables and a Gridpad for the Speech and Language Therapy team. The team of fundraisers have been busy arranging coffee mornings and providing a tea trolley in the community hospital to raise this impressive amount. Donations are also made to the League of Friends in memory of loved ones. Elaine Hardman, Matron of Ysbyty Eryri, said: “The League of Friends is a small but dedicated group of volunteers who spend their free time to fundraise for their hospital, which is at the heart of their community. With the support from the League of Friends the staff working at Ysbyty Eryri can offer patients, their relatives and friends the very best care. The equipment which has been donated does bring additional facilities to the patients that the health board would not necessarily be able to support. We are extremely grateful to the League of Friends for the support they give to staff and the services at the hospital, and with their help we can offer patients the best possible care.”
