SINGING FOR FUN: Lleisiau’r Byd World Voices is a friendly and informal community choir. Meets every Wednesday in term-time 7.30-9.30 in the Jerusalem Hall in Cricieth. £5 a session, with first one free. The choir sings songs in a variety of styles and languages in glorious harmony. All music is taught by ear, directed by musical leader David Gunn, in a friendly and supportive way to produce beautiful sounds. No previous singing experience necessary. Contact 01766 523686. SOROPTIMIS­T INTERNATIO­NAL OF SOUTH CAERNARVON­SHIRE: An internatio­nal organisati­on helping women and girls achieve their potential by inspiring action and creating opportunit­ies to transform lives through a global network of members locally and internatio­nally. Cards, calendars, clothing, confection­ery, stocking fillers of all sorts - and for youngsters who ‘have everything’ membership of Storm Force will involve them directly with the RNLI. And into the bargain you’ll have a cheerful welcome. Every purchase you make will not only brighten your Christmas, but help your local volunteer crew to stay afloat - surely a winner!
