AGEING WELL: Age Cymru Gwynedd a Mon have teamed up with Communitie­s First and Gwynedd Council to run an ageing well project for over-50s in Bangor and Caernarfon. The aim is to encourage older people to come for a cuppa and a chat, and to take part in activities if they so wish. For example there are gentle chair exercises in the scout hut in Maesincla, Caernarfon every Wednesday from 10am onwards, a computer skills course every Friday from 10am onwards, whereby people can bring their own devices to learn on, or use ones provided for them. ARTHRITIS CARE: The group joined the concert held at the Galeri, led by Codi’r To. The group had been introduced to this wonderful music ,when Barri and Iolo from Cod’r To had shared the learning process and the profound effects, of engagement, learning and discipline and respect for one another- this type of Rhythm gives to all ages. Having learnt how devoted they had been in their learning and had spent time in Venezuela studying, they returned to teach it in their homeland, of North Wales. The Arthritis Group had an opportunit­y to use the instrument­s and were asked to join the concert at the Galeri.
