The Geology Of Snowdonia - a practical introduction. A walk on the slopes of Cnicht led by Clive Hudson. Meet at 10am in the roadside car park by Gelli Iago, Blaen Nanmor (NGR SH 632484). Suitable boots & waterproofs essential. From Nanmor, follow the footpath to Llyn Llagi, then traverse across the hillside to return via Gelli Iago. Distance 6 km (3.75m), about 1000 ft of ascent, crossing hill slopes, boggy in places. Approx 5 hours. Bring a picnic. Cost £3 per head. Contact Clive for more details 01766 770162.
