SINGING FOR FUN: Lleisiau’r Byd World Voices is a friendly and in­for­mal com­mu­nity choir. Meets ev­ery Wed­nes­day in term-time 7.30-9.30 in the Jerusalem Hall, Cricieth. £5 a ses­sion, with first one free. The choir sings songs in a va­ri­ety of styles and lan­guages in glo­ri­ous har­mony. All mu­sic is taught by ear, di­rected by mu­si­cal leader David Gunn, in a friendly and sup­port­ive way to pro­duce beau­ti­ful sounds. No pre­vi­ous singing ex­pe­ri­ence nec­es­sary. RNLI: The Cric­ci­eth RNLI shop and Boathouse will now be open from 11am to 5pm ev­ery day (un­less the weather is too ap­palling even for shop­ping). New sea­son, new good­ies, same need for money to keep the vol­un­teer crew afloat and on hand to deal ex­pertly and cheer­fully with res­cues on and be­side the sea.
