BANC BWYD PWLL­HELI FOODBANK: Gave out a to­tal of 41 packs of food, toi­letries and other es­sen­tial items in March, in­clud­ing Easter eggs to lo­cal peo­ple re­ferred to it by gov­ern­ment agen­cies and lo­cal char­i­ties. Thanks to ASDA for the gen­er­ous do­na­tion of Easter eggs. The Foodbank is grate­ful to every­one who sup­ports - it is run­ning short of `bags for life’, so please do not throw them away, but leave them and any other items in St Peters Church when­ever open. Lunch Club at noon on Tues and Frids, when the Foodbank of­fers a light lunch free of charge. The Foodbank is open 2-3pm on those days. At present, no more do­na­tions of cloth­ing or bed­ding are needed.

CHRIS­TIAN AID WEEK: Will be held on May 13-19. There will be a house to house col­lec­tion. On Wed­nes­day May 16 there will be a street col­lec­tion and a pro­duce stall on the Mar­ket. On Fri­day, May 18 there will be a cof­fee morn­ing held at Pen­lan chapel vestry­be­tween 10.30am and noon. On Satur­day a col­lec­tion out­side Lidl, and on Sun­day, May 20 an united ser­vice by all the chapels will be held at Capel y Drindod.
