PWLL­HELI will tar­get a sec­ond win of the sea­son in the North Wales Cricket League Premier Divi­sion when they host Gres­ford this Satur­day.

The Llyn side found cham­pi­ons Ban­gor too strong last week­end, when they lost by six wick­ets at Ty Newydd.

Pwll chose to bat first af­ter win­ning the toss and made 204-9 off 50 overs, Swapnil Pad­manand Kate (47) and Mor­gan Mur­rayWil­liams (44) putting on 87 for the sec­ond wicket.

Chris Daw­son claimed 3-54. Jonny Wells 2-25 and Gareth W Ed­wards 2-40 for the hosts.

Ban­gor’s re­sponse be­gan bril­liantly, David Win­ter (75) and Sion Evans (30) con­coct­ing a first-wicket com­bi­na­tion of 114.

Nadeem Rehman hit an un­beaten 52 against his old club as the Cit­i­zens reached 205-4 from 47.4 overs for a 13-2 win.

Pwll­heli sec­onds con­tin­ued their fly­ing start in the 2nd XI West Divi­sion with an 11-4 home beat­ing of Bethesda.

Neil Wil­liams struck a dom­i­nant 94 as 10-man Pwll were lim­ited to 146-9.

Wil­liams com­pleted an amaz­ing match with 4-8 from four overs as Pesda were sent pack­ing for 124, Carter Bent­ley 2-26 and Osian Wil­liams 2-27.

Caernar­fon wal­loped Dol­gel­lau by 95 runs for a 14-1 ver­dict at Coed He­len.

Put into bat, the Cofis set 143-8 off 40 overs, Ian Mor­gan lead­ing the way with 47, then the visi­tors were rolled over for 48, Prysor Aled 3-3 from five overs, Barry Roberts 3-15.
