YOUNG pig experts stepped into the spotlight for Eryri YFC’s final stockjudging competition before this year’s county rally.

The federation’s young farmers shared the stage at Glynllifon College, Caernarfon, with members of Meirionnydd YFC.

It meant nearly 50 young farmers competed on the night for the chance to represent their respective counties at this year’s Royal Welsh Show.

“It was nice to work with Meirionnydd and it was a nice relaxed evening,” said Eryri rally chairman Gwyn Jones.

“We are very grateful to Glynllifon for hosting the competition, as well as being one of our main sponsors for this year’s county rally.”

Stockjudging points will be added to the rally total.
