Hall is where the art is

THE an­nual art ex­hi­bi­tion of Ar­lun­wyr Sarn Artists will be held at Sarn Mellteyrn Me­mo­rial Hall on the Llyn Penin­sula and will open on Satur­day, May 26 at 1pm un­til Tues­day, June 5 at 3pm.

Open daily from 11am-5pm vis­i­tors are in­vited to pe­ruse a range of paint­ings in oil and water­colour, draw­ings, pas­tels and orig­i­nal wood­cut, lino and dry­point etch­ing prints by lo­cal artists.

There will also be a wide range of cards for sale by artists. Tea, cof­fee and cakes will be avail­able free of charge and any dona­tions will be given to the Sarn Mellteyrn Me­mo­rial Hall fund.

A dry point etch­ing and print­ing work­shop for chil­dren will be held on Wed­nes­day, May 30, 2pm-4pm. The ex­hi­bi­tion is also part of the Llyn Arts Fes­ti­val to be held across the Llyn Penin­sula dur­ing the Whit­sun hol­i­day week
