Visitors will be able to talk to staff and volunteers about the different types of plants and special areas such as the Chinese garden and the woodland. The greenhouses include carnivorous plants, orchids, cacti and tropical plants from around the world. Also they will be able to learn about the fascinating history of the site, which in Victorian times was going to become a park, hotel and housing, designed by Sir Joseph Paxton; the plans never came to fruition but some features can still be seen in the grounds. Entry fee £3 (children free). The money raised will go to the NGS charities, including Macmillan, Marie Curie and Hospice UK. BRIDGE CAFE: 3D Jisaw Journey.
