On a mission to prove ‘the biggest lie of all’

-

APAIR of “flat-Earthers” will visit North Wales as part of a UK tour to “expose” what they claim is the biggest lie of all.

Harry McDonald, who created a YouTube channel under the name of “John Smith Globe Lie”, plans to visit 56 towns and cities with his friend Jason Disbury.

As part of the tour, they’ll visit Snowdonia and Holyhead on September 27 and 28 respectively, with the exact locations to be announced nearer the time.

Mr McDonald, 60, has almost 6,500 subscribers on YouTube and the channel’s description gives more insight into his beliefs.

It reads: “I am on a quest to expose the biggest lie of all, that is the lie of where we actually live.

“To me the globe lie is a massive criminal act, all the children are being lied to, while NASA make $52 million a day for showing us cartoons.

“We all believe what we are told as infants without any proof of the heliocentric model. But now as adults we can engage our independent critical thinking and ask for proof.”

During the tour, the pair will drive around in a campervan with a number of statements written on the side, including: ‘Earth is NOT a magical spinning ball with bendy water’, ‘Gravity has never been proven’, ‘Water cannot conform to the outside of a ball’, ‘NASA presents you with photoshop images, they admit they are NOT PHOTOGRAPHS’ and ‘There is no real evidence of rockets or satellites in space’.

The tour is being funded through donations, with the pair having raised £1,155 of their £3,000 goal through their GoFundMe page.

The page describes the tour of the UK as a “mission” and encourages fellow flat-Earthers to meet up with the pair to help “expose the global lie”.

“His mission is to tell anyone and everyone that they have been lied to in the worst way – and exposing the biggest criminal lie ever told,” it reads. “On his journey, he wants to meet with people that want to help evoke change reform and expose the Globe Lie.”
