MEILIR WIL­LIAMS was a four-goal star as Pen­rhyn­deu­draeth pro­gressed in the Cook­son Cup with a 5-0 thrash­ing of Llan­dudno Junc­tion. An own goal com­pleted the home to­tal.

Nantlle Vale also ad­vanced with a 2-1 suc­cess at Green­field, an Aaron DaviesThomas strike plus an own goal guid­ing the vis­i­tors through.

Llan­beris recorded a good 2-1 win at Llan­r­wst United in Welsh Al­liance Di­vi­sion One, David Jones and Gethin Wake­ham scor­ing away goals.

Di­vi­sion Two lead­ers Blaenau Ama­teurs took the honours 2-1 at Meli­den, Kieron El­lis with both goals, in­clud­ing one ef­fort from the half­way line.

Iwan Owen notched a hat-trick in Y Felinheli’s 7-1 drub­bing of Aml­wch Town, Gruff John, Car­wyn Dafydd, Rhys Parry and Aled Emyr adding sin­gles.

Sion Jones was a five-goal hero as Porth­madog Re­serves made it 12 straight wins with a 10-1 away can­ing of Kin­mel Bay to stretch their lead in the Re­serves Di­vi­sion to nine points. Rhys Hughes (2), Jack Davis, Sol Kemp­ster and Ben Wil­liams grabbed the rest.

Mathew Ed­wards and Gethin Tre­for Jones net­ted for Llan­beris in their 2-1 de­feat of Prestatyn Town.

Mike Owen nabbed a con­so­la­tion for Llanrug United in a 3-1 loss to Col­wyn Bay, while Pwll­heli took the spoils 4-0 at Pen­maen­mawr, Lee Sam­son, Cai Hughes, Ja­son Banks and Mar­cus Banks for the vis­i­tors.
